Organic Agriculture Program

This website is for farmers and other agricultural professionals interested in organic farming resources, faculty, and current projects at OSU Extension.

The new OSU Organic Extension Program is part of the Center for Small Farms & Community Food Systems. Organic Extension faculty serve farms of all sizes and provide research-based information for Oregon’s organic farmers. We started with one Organic Vegetable Extension advisor in 2020, and an Organic Pasture & Forages Extension advisor in 2021. We hope to expand the program in the future.

This work would not be possible without collaboration and support from the farmers we work with and Oregon Tilth, Organic Valley, and the Oregon Organic Coalition.
