We envision vibrant and profitable organic and ecological farms that supply regional food systems with healthy and accessible food.
Agricultural Tourism

Small Farms Program
Our mission is to advance sustainable agriculture, community food systems, and economic progress for Oregon's small farmers and ranchers and provide a leading-edge experience for students.
Farm to School Program
When we bring local foods into school cafeterias and teach kids about where their food comes from, good things happen. Farm to school and school garden activities work together to improve kids' health and wellness, support their success in school and grow Oregon’s economy.
Letitia Carson Legacy Project
The Letitia Carson Legacy Project is a partnership of five organizations – Black Oregon Land Trust, Oregon Black Pioneers, the Linn-Benton Counties NAACP Branch, Mudbone Grown, and Oregon State University – committed to honoring Letitia Carson’s legacy.
Northwest and Rocky Mountain Regional Food Business Center
As part of the network of USDA Regional Food Business Centers, the Northwest and Rocky Mountain Regional Food Business Center supports a more resilient, diverse, and competitive food system.
Dry Farming Program
Our participatory research program and resource hub connect farmers and food system professionals with dry farming techniques, innovations, and best practices, to reduce water usage and mitigate climate change.
Niche Meat Processor Assistance Network (NMPAN)
NMPAN is an university Extension-based community of practice of people and organizations helping small meat processors thrive by growing our shared wealth of information and innovation. We offer tools and technical assistance for small processors and the farmers, marketers, and meat buyers who depend on them.
Community Food Systems Program
Through a long-term partnership with the Oregon Community Food Systems Network, we support local and regional food system development that generates economic, social, health, and environmental benefit across Oregon.
